And the new communicator is me! My name is Jane Brda. I’m a member of St. Thomas/Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Sunset Hills.
By the way, you’re getting this email because you have been identified as the contact person for your congregation (if you’re not the contact person, please email me with updated information).
My role as the new Eastern Missouri Conference (EMC) Communicator is to facilitate the exchange of information between the congregations in the EMC and the EMC strategy team. The hope is that by working together, we can accomplish more than each of us can do independently. I’ll be emailing you periodically with news and events happening in the EMC (and if you have news to share, feel free to send me that information at communicatoremc@gmail.com, and I’ll include in a future email).
I will also be the contact person for questions about transition ministry resources and events happening around the EMC. I may not have the answer, but I will find someone who does and get the information to you as soon as possible.
More information about my role and the benefits of being connected with the other churches in the conference will come next week.
If there are congregational members you would like to have added to these emails, please send their names and email addresses to communicatoremc@gmail.com.
Please scroll for important information about the EMC Gathering on November 4th and 5th and a job opening at Zion in Ferguson.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to working with you all.
